Alisa Sandoval Promoted to Partner

Richardson | Ober proudly announces that Alisa E. Sandoval, Esq. has been promoted from Senior Associate to Partner. After a decade of leading our litigation department, Alisa will now oversee litigation for the firm, guiding our strong community association division and expanding real estate practice.

Alisa is an accomplished attorney with over two decades of experience in civil litigation, specializing in community association, real estate and general business matters.

Alisa brings attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and strategic vision to the Partnership role. Her talent as a litigator is matched by her demonstrated compassion and calm demeanor. 

“Alisa is impressively able to handle whatever comes her way, without flinching.  Never too quick to react, she is able to view litigation matters from various angles to ultimately arrive at the best approach for the client”  remarks Partner Matt Ober. Among her most valuable attributes is her natural mentorship ability. “Alisa is a well-respected and admired role model to the firm’s associates,” Ober added.

A graduate of Whittier Law School with honors and a B.A. in English Literature from UCLA, Ms. Sandoval began her legal career serving domestic violence victims through the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Domestic Violence Project. She is admitted to practice in the United States District and Bankruptcy Courts for the Central District of California and is an active member of several bar associations, including the Mexican American Bar Association and the Pasadena Bar Association. Fluent in Spanish, she brings strong advocacy and legal writing skills to every stage of litigation, from inception through trial and appeal.

In her free time, Alisa serves on the Eagle Rock Neighborhood Council as its Vice President and as a member at large on its Sustainability Committee. She also serves as a pro tem judicial officer for the Los Angeles Superior Court’s traffic division. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling with her adult daughter.
